The Trust has regularly made grants of up to £500 to people who are ill, handicapped or disabled, and to those who may be in need of medical and/or household equipment to improve their quality of life.

 

Examples of how the grant has been used include; 

• Replacement Washing Machines

• Part of a syndicate purchasing larger items/repairs to properties

• Food for special diets

• Assistance towards home adaptations

• Radio or TV for the housebound

• Purchase of a Kindle reader and funds to download books

 

Who is the Grant for?

• Grants can be made to adults and children of all ages deemed sick and needy living in Lancashire, Greater Manchester or South Cumbria

 

How do I apply?

• Referrals can be made by individuals, health and social work professionals, charities and other organisations
